Hello and Welcome to Senior Explorers!

My name is Nancy Bagdanov and I am the
owner and operator of Senior Explorers.
I understand what it’s like to have aging parents
and the challenges of long distance care giving.
My own mom lives over 400 miles away.
I deeply value and appreciate the people who bring her joy.
​
While finding physical care for a loved one is hard enough,
finding someone who can provide quality activities to help them
maintain and stimulate their mental faculties is even more difficult.
This is where Senior Explorers comes in.
​
My passion lies in helping elderly adults live a full life where they are at.
As an attentive "tour guide", I take my clients on Gentle Adventures
where together we explore past experiences and take new adventures -
all from the comfort and safety of their familiar environment.
My goal is to leave each client uplifted and encouraged
because of our time together.
​
I am a certified activity coordinator and hold a degree
in gerontology with a specialization in recreation.
I am also trained in both reminiscence and validation theory. 
In designing my activities, I draw upon over two decades of
teaching and developing individualized learning programs.
